But with the ovulation pain the last few days, and the OPK this morning, it’s nice to have it confirmed by the doubting RE doctor.Of course, there are no guarantees that this is a strong, healthy egg - but still, when the tech wished me good luck with this cycle, I thought for a minute of asking for a copy of the ultrasound picture! The nurse called from the RE’s office and gave me my results:CD10 - FSH - 12.5, LH - 18.2, E2 - 369 (CDN), 100.54 (US), Prog - 6.9 (CDN), 2.17 (US), Prolactin - 20.6, Follicle - 16.5 on left ovary.Photograph of a transvaginal ultrasound identifying of an ovary on cycle day 11 (late follicular phase).

knobboy: Who Is This?

Array Borrowed karabiners and Ron’s climbing rope were used to connect the Swedish Valiant to Anna’s shiny, Subaru. With crowds looking on Paul dragged Ron to safety causing Anna’s Subaru gearbox to erupt into a spontaneous celebration of billowing, black smoke. Anna accompanied Niall on Death Bed Confessions, perhaps the day’s most popular climb, while Paul decided to lead something that he assured me was called Sod (13).At the top of the first pitch Paul offered me the sharp end but I declined, content to coast behind and take it all in – Puzzled by what we were supposed to have climbed, Paul checked the guidebook to discover his warm-up 13 was in fact the two-star classic Dan the Bulldog (17).About the time we rapped down Nigel and Mike were completing the first pitch of DBC. Mike’s colleagues Jim Croft and Chris Thomas completed Anthrax Ripple (14), Homesick (12) and Go Cat (16).It was at Lower Baldy that Paul and I found ourselves gazing up at Secret Swinger, which had been heartily recommended to us by Niall who’d climbed it two years previously. As we roped up Niall and the rest of the gang headed off in a westerly direction.Niall and Anna eventually settled on pitch one of Time Lord (17) and Niall completed half of Anthrax Ripple (13), before somewhat enigmatically stating he “didn’t like the lichen”.Back at Secret Swinger Paul was fending off Dave Goldie who wanted to give the route a go as I was freaking out looking at the crack. The next 20m of climbing are a blur except for key points like when two of Paul’s Camalots plummeted to the deck, quickly followed by a poorly placed hex that was supposed to be bomber.Four marathon hours after I’d begun bumbling my way up the climb Paul arrived at the second pitch belay. After lots of debate Niall and I headed back up to the Coke Ovens to have a look at Grunter while Anna and Paul decided to take in the sights. As Paul and I drove out of the valley on the return to Sydney, and our mute mobile phones once more chattered back to life, I promised myself that I would return very soon to this magical place where the climbs demand respect and the beer flows like Wolgan Valley river water.

They also suggest that unlike other VoIP service providers, they solve NAT Traversal problem without the use of Proxies with the resultant better voice quality.Of course the clincher is that Skype is P2P and so is infinitely scalable and resilient. Before I analyze these points, let me describe the workings of Skype based on my understanding and what is available in public. There is a Global Index Server where all clients login and authenticate themselves and exchange security key information. It is suggested that since the Supernodes are nothing more than other Skype clients, Skype is infinitely scalable. So Skype may deploy their own Supernodes, eliminating one more difference between it and other VoIP providers. Some have expressed reservation because Skype is proprietary. I’d like to take a closer look at some of the most popular alternative views and then comment on them in light of what we’ve learned in the past several posts. The first alternative view is the “Legend Theory.” This view holds that Jesus didn’t really die on the cross, he just swooned, and was awakened while in the tomb. Thirdly, even if this was true, it would only explain the empty tomb, it wouldn’t disprove the resurrection. The fourth alternative view I’ve heard is the “Wrong Tomb Theory.” But regardless, even if the disciples did go to the wrong tomb, it still wouldn’t account for the appearances of the risen Jesus to the disciples. The fifth alternative view is that of naturalism. This view may seem reasonable at first glance, but let’s look a little deeper. But even if one does hold to the hallucination theory, it still doesn’t explain the empty tomb.I realize there are many other alternative views out there but space doesn’t allow me to address them. I hope that you are able to see that when people give you alternative views to the historicity of the resurrection of Jesus, you don’t need to be nervous. I believe you will quickly see that when one objectively looks at the evidence of Christ’s resurrection, the truth of the event shines through and all other views quickly fall away.

Sports & Spice …and everything nice: The Weekend that Was

Array She led me back into the office and asked one of the older Monks who, it turns out, also spoke good English.Within minutes, not only was I booked into a nearby Inn, but given a map and timetable for buses for the next day to get to Temples 87 and 88.What a relief!I winced the 100 or so paces to the Inn and when I got to my room and took off my socks, my feet were white from being wet all day and swollen and bruised as I had suspected.I quickly had a shower so I could put them to rest for the remainder of the night.

-ne As the News.com.au intro to this story read:A CHILD welfare group plans to push for laws to ban parents from smacking their children after a survey found 70 per cent of adults support it as a method of discipline. When a huge majority of the population supports something and an elitist minority calls for it to be banned, it must be led by doctors.Yep:Foundation chief executive officer… Just last Saturday night in a drunken spree they damaged my mothers letter box, (for probably the 6th time), invaded the yards of residences where they sat drinking, tore down a fence, attacked each other with palings, threw a brick through the window of another elderly womans home, threw a letter box through another window, broke bottles, damaged road signs and other public notices. So much for people feeling safe and secure in their communities.

There was a time in my life when I was at my end, when I was just too overwhelmed, too alone. I didn’t have enough money for a phone or a TV. I didn’t have money for food or gas or anything that wasn’t rent related. She was a brand new kitten and my saving grace a million times over, but this story isn’t about her. It’s about a man I met once who changed my life, saved my life. I had no idea when I left fresh-faced for the university that I had the potential to completely fuck up my life, but that’s what I did. I figured I’d borrow 0 to get back home, but I didn’t have bridge toll. I didn’t even have a dollar to my name. I didn’t have the money. As I came back up, the car in front of me was stopped and I slammed on my brakes praying I wasn’t going to hit it. I didn’t. It was close, but I didn’t hit him. “I didn’t hit you!” I was pissed. Your bumper fell off and I didn’t want you to run over it.” I looked at the front of my car and sure enough, the bumper was held 2 inched off the ground by electrical wires. The man didn’t say anything for a minute. I apologized for almost hitting him as I stuck the bumper in the back of my car. By the time I was 25, life was infinitely better.

An article today from the Inter Press News Agency describes the pressure brought by Spanish tuna company Grupo Calvo in bringing about this result:Since July 2005, this Central American country has benefited from the Generalised System of Preferences Plus (GSP ) scheme, which that allows Salvadoran products to enter the EU duty free.Faced with the prospect of paying tariffs of 20.5 percent if the Salvadoran government failed to ratify the conventions, Spanish tuna canning giant Grupo Calvo spearheaded a campaign to force the government to comply with the EU conditions.Last July, the Calvo company threatened to close its local plant if El Salvador did not ratify the conventions, stating that its competitiveness would drop significantly without the tariff preferences, and laid off 600 workers in preparation for a pull-out from the country.Grupo Calvo, which has operated in El Salvador since September 2003, has exported 20,500 tonnes of tuna so far this year and has invested 118 million dollars in this country — more than any other European investor over the past five years.Ramon Calvo, CEO of Grupo Calvo, spared no effort in lobbying the Salvadoran government.

I’ve been wringing my hands for weeks – nay, months now – awaiting the collapse. Sort of a “Well, how can you expect us to compete with ________ out for the season?” (And I was thinking more about Pudge or Kenny Rogers than Placido friggin’ Polanco to fill in that blank!)But no, instead we get a full on, nonsensical total collapse with no hitting when we have decent pitching, terrible pitching on nights when our bats could have won it, or – like last night’s 12-1 debacle against the Twins, a bit of both. Dude, you know it’s DETROIT, right? The offense, well – I will say this, I think it’s a good offense. Jeff Backus – and yeah, I loved him at Michigan – is not a very good NFL player. As for the better, I guess – Hey, Detroit Shock, WNBA Champions! (No, I don’t really care either.)Quick hits on other college football – yes, OSU looks like a solid #1. And – in what NBC would consider blasphemy – he’s not even the best looking U-M rival QB. Was shocked to see Iowa and Tennessee have so much trouble against their “lay-down” opponents. As for random things – tried a homemade Chicken Noodle soup last night that turned out delicious!

However Yugi reminds Duke that he has already defeated Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters, so Duke should still watch out.As Duke rolls two Attack crests and a Movement crest, He passes back to Yugi who successfully rolls for a Level 2 Summon, releasing the Knight of Twin Swords. Storing his extra movement crest, Duke congratulates Yugi on learning to store his crests to use them later. As play passes to Duke, the crest pools of each player are revealed, and while Yugi has 1 movement crest, 5 attack crests and 4 defence crests, Duke has 7 movement crests and 2 attack crests. Duke explains to Yugi that when two Warp Vortexes are played on the board, monsters can pass through it to move quickly across the board. As Yugi worries over this latest revelation, Duke warns him that when he rolls his second black die summoning he will place the Vortex by Yugi’s heart points, giving him easy access to destroy him. Playing it onto his side of the board, Yugi moves the Strike Ninja through the Vortex and uses it to destroy Duke’s Ryu-Kishin.As Duke’s roll fails to provide him with a summoning, Yugi rolls a Movement crest and a another Movement crest.

90 Days to 50!: Things that are REALLY pissing me off…

October 8th, 2008 by admin

Array SO back to the wreck…the roads are quarintined passed my house and basically any escape from Walnut Ridge to Jonesboro is denied unless you go through Paragould or down to Alicia…the back roads are even blocked off…it’s a chemical spill that could cause explosions…but is only a 60 yard quarintine that ended up being about 2 mile radius added on in 30 minutes…I hope it blows and wipes this shit hole town off the map…if that happens, drinks are on me…if I die in the blast, measures have been taken to insure that you all get your drink of choice…just promise to get the Most Haunted crew off the Travel Channel to come here so I can, with my ghostly powers, make them shit themselves before killing them…they’re dumbasses and deserve to die…so I’ll fill you all in on the pimp-static apartments tomorrow night…Ciao, bitchesP.S.

I accidentally happened to find this long-forgotten scan of my caricature today morning and wanted to share it with the world! The artist stuck to the true definition of the word caricature by making sure my nose looked as fat as it could possibly get, my glasses looked as geeky(sad?) as they actually are and my eyebrows were as thick as caterpillars, in effect making me look 50!

Comic Reviews: New Avengers #29 - Marvel

Food is an essential part of life, but it is more than that. It is the central part of many of the social customs and practices that fill our lives. It only makes sense that God would take such a simple, important part of our life and use it to remind us of what is most important. When Jesus met with the disciples for the Last Supper he instituted a memorial service that can apply to every meal we eat, but relates specifically to the weekly meetings of the Family of God.Dinner for One - “Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. - 11:27-28Dinner for Two -

Last issue we discovered that Ronin was actually Maya Lopez, Echo. She was sent to Japan by the Avengers to keep an eye on the Japanese underworld. Well . . . she got in a bit over her head. So she called for the Avengers. Since they weren’t really wanted stateside, they came running. But they came running in to a big ‘ol mess. Then Ronin, Maya . . . er Echo, got killed by the hand. Who is currently being led by Elektra. But Elektra used there potions and ancient magics to bring her back to life. So what going to happen next? Well . . . you’re going to have to wait until next issue to find out. Why? Because this issue, we get the story of what happened the day before they went to Japan. I don’t know why? That’s just the way they did it. Anyways, SHEILD, led by Tony Stark, drew them in to a trap. They thought they were going to find Captain America, but instead they just walked hip deep in to it. All their powers were negated, but luckily they had Dr. Strange with them. So with a little hocus-pocus, he got them out of the jam. They try to go to Dr. Strange’s house, but it appears abandoned. And since he has his magical shields up, they can’t even see them even though their occupying the same space. So instead they go to Rand Industries to talk to Danny Rand, IronFist. They try to bully him in to confessing what he did, and where the others are. But Danny and his counselor play it pretty cool. After they leave he gets a package from Murdock & Nelson, which is Ronin’s costume. There’s a note from Maya, and she wants to be avenged. But Tony still hasn’t given up, now he’s gotten his own Shaman. He’s gone and got Brother VooDoo, to try to find our renegades. So they go from a fight with Tony and all his people, including Brother VooDoo, to a fight with the Hand and Elektra. But Luke tries to diffuse the situation, he goes straight to Elektra, gives her the rundown, and says, . . . . criminal to criminal . . . lets talk.” Its a good story by Brian Michael Bendis, of course. Im just not sure why were bouncing around so much. But . . . whatever. I also like Leinil Yus art. It fits the characters and the mood of the story perfectly. I hope this title is back on track now. But we also have 3 different Avenger titles going. This one, the Mighty Avengers, and Avengers the Initiative. Somebody up in the editorial offices is wetting themselves right now. But really . . . this is a great book.

There is no threat associated with these men. They are between 18 and 22 years old, said a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the search for the men is continuing.U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement declined to make their names public. The government probably will seek to send the students home once they are located because they have violated the terms of their visas, the official said. The government tightened the student visa process after the Sept. 11 to track foreign students, Conover said. They were participating in an exchange program Montana State arranged with Mansoura University in Mansoura, Egypt. We hope this doesnt cast doubt on this program because we think its important to have international students on our campus and in our community, Conover said.

-ne by Dr. Ivan ElandAs both the Bush administration and its client government in Israel, with their invasions of Arab states in Iraq and Lebanon respectively, make the United States ever more hated in the Islamic world, a new book by the Chairmen of the 9/11 commission admits that the commission whitewashed the root cause of the 9/11 attacks—that same interventionist U.S. foreign policy.Former Governor Tom Kean and former Congressman Lee Hamilton, chairmen of the 9/11 Commission—the publicity hounds that they are—want to keep the long retired, but much celebrated, panel in the public mind. Although to his credit, Hamilton argued for saying that al Qaeda committed the heinous strike because of the U.S. military presence in the Middle East and American support for Israel, the panel watered down that frank conclusion to state that U.S. policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Iraq are “dominant staples of popular commentary across the Arab and Muslim world.”Some commissioners wanted to cover up the link between the 9/11 attack and U.S. support for Israel because this might imply that the United States should alter policy and lessen its support for Israeli actions.

An oft-cited poll conducted by The Washington Post last month revealed that 69% of Americans continue to believe it likely that Hussein was personally involved in 9/11.No real evidence to support this has emerged, however, leading some (including E&P, just last week) to declare that the media had failed in its duty to correct the public misperception. So when President George Bush admitted on Wednesday, for the first time, that there was no evidence that Hussein was involved with the September 11th attacks, one would assume that would be big news and an opportunity for the press to make up for past failings. And according to some newspapers, it was a big story. The New York Daily News: page 14.The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal didn’t mention it at all.The story was even more dramatic because Bush’s remarks came on the heels of an assertion to the contrary made by Vice President Dick Cheney Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press.
